Privacy policy

Last updated October 31, 2026. The short version: the text you rewrite or check is processed and then discarded. We don't store it, log it, train on it or sell it.

Who we are

TextStyled (textstyled.com) is run by Mannan Bhardwaj ("we", "us"), who is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact: support@textstyled.com.

The text you rewrite or check

When you rewrite text or check it for AI, it goes from your browser to our servers and to the GPU servers that run our models. It's processed in memory to produce your result, then discarded. We don't save it, we don't write it to our logs, and we don't use it to train our models.

The one exception is writing you ask us to keep: the samples in styles you save to your account. We store those so you can use them again, until you delete the style or your account. We don't use them for training either.

What we collect

Account details: your email address and a securely hashed password, or, if you sign in with Google, the name and email address Google shares with us.
Saved styles and settings: your styles' names and samples, and which styles you've pinned or selected.
Usage records: for each request, the feature used, the number of words, how long it took and whether it succeeded, plus daily word counts for plan limits. These never include your text.
Billing records: if you subscribe, your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan status and renewal date. Stripe collects your card details directly; we never see or store them.
Messages you send us: the name, email address, company and message you enter in the demo, lab or waitlist forms, or in an email to us.
Technical and security data: IP address, browser and device details, which our hosting provider processes to deliver the site, run bot checks and enforce rate limits. We also collect cookie-free page-view statistics and error reports that carry an anonymous account ID but none of your text.

Why we use it

to provide TextStyled: run your requests, keep your account and styles, and enforce plan limits;
to take payments and manage your subscription;
to keep the service secure, stop abuse, and fix problems;
to reply when you contact us or ask for a demo.

If you're in the EU or UK, our legal bases are performing our contract with you (running the service and your subscription), our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention and improving reliability), and legal obligations (tax and accounting records). We don't sell your personal information, share it for advertising, or use it for automated decisions with legal effects on you.

Who processes it for us

We use these providers to run TextStyled. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

Supabase: accounts, sign-in, and our database.
Cloudflare: hosting, security (bot checks and rate limits), page-view statistics, and email forwarding.
RunPod: the GPU servers that run our models. Your text passes through them and isn't stored.
Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
Google: sign-in, if you choose "Continue with Google".
Resend: sending email, such as form notifications.
Sentry and Grafana Labs: error reports and service metrics, with no user text.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people or the service, or to a buyer if TextStyled is ever sold. If that happens, this policy keeps applying to your information.

Cookies and browser storage

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores your sign-in session, your theme, and a copy of your styles so pages load quickly. Cloudflare may set a cookie for its security checks, and Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page.

How long we keep it

Account details, saved styles and settings: until you delete them or your account.
Usage records: while your account exists. When you delete your account, they're kept only without any link to you.
Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Form submissions and emails: as long as we need them to reply and follow up.

Your choices and rights

You can delete styles yourself on the platform. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and everything linked to it, email support@textstyled.com from the address on your account, and we'll do it within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have more rights, such as objecting to some uses or complaining to your data-protection authority; email us and we'll help.

Where your data is processed

We and our providers process data in the United States and other countries. When we transfer data from the EU or UK, we rely on our providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Security

Connections to TextStyled are encrypted, passwords are hashed, each account can reach only its own data, and payment details stay with Stripe. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.

Children

TextStyled isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child under 13 has an account, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email account holders or post a notice on the site before the change takes effect.
