Who we are

TextStyled (textstyled.com) is run by Mannan Bhardwaj, an individual based in New Jersey, USA ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using TextStyled, you agree to them and to ourprivacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

TextStyled rewrites text in a writing style you choose and estimates how likely text is to have been written by AI. You need to be at least 13 to use it, and if you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe; tell us atsupport@textstyled.com if you think someone else is using it.

Your writing

You own the text you put into TextStyled and the rewrites it gives you. You give us permission to process your text only to provide the service to you: to rewrite it, score it, and, for styles you save, keep it in your account. We don't use your text to train our models, and we don't sell it.

When you add writing samples to make a style, you must have the right to use them. Use styles to shape your own writing, not to pass yourself off as a real person in order to deceive or defraud anyone.

Acceptable use

Don't use TextStyled to:

• break the law, or the rules of a school, employer, publisher or platform that you've agreed to follow, including rules about using AI in your work. Whether AI assistance is allowed in what you submit is your responsibility.
• create spam, scams, fraud, harassment, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
• impersonate a real person in order to deceive or harm anyone;
• get around usage limits, share an account, scrape the service, or overload or attack it;
• use the service or its output to build a competing model or service, or to reverse engineer ours.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

AI detection scores are estimates

The AI detector gives a probability, not a fact. It can be wrong in both directions: human writing can score as AI, and AI writing can score as human. Don't use a TextStyled score as the only basis for a decision about anyone, such as a grade, an academic-integrity case, a hiring decision or a disciplinary action. Rewrites can also contain mistakes or change your meaning, so read them before you use them.

Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds

Pro costs $8 a month and renews automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we charge the card you give at checkout at the start of each monthly period. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while; if it still fails, the subscription ends and your account returns to the Free plan.

You can cancel at any time on your plan page, or by emailingsupport@textstyled.com from the address on your account. Once canceled, you won't be charged again, and Pro stays on until the end of the month you've already paid for. You can change your card and download invoices from the same page.

Payments are non-refundable, including for partly used months, except where the law requires a refund. If you were charged by mistake, or something went wrong, email us and we'll look at it.

If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before your next charge at the new price, so you can cancel first.

Free plan and changes to the service

The Free plan has daily limits, shown on the pricing page. We may change features and limits, or stop offering the service. If we shut TextStyled down, we'll give paying subscribers notice and refund any month they've paid for but can't use.

Ending your account

You can stop using TextStyled at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailingsupport@textstyled.com. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, or if we have to in order to protect the service, other users or the law.

Disclaimers

TextStyled is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that its rewrites or scores will be accurate or fit a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of TextStyled. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

You agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims made by others because of text you submit or your breach of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email account holders or post a notice on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use TextStyled after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them at home.
